Thirsk Hall Glamping Site is comprised of five Luna Bell Tents within the historic walled garden of Thirsk Hall. It is ideal for friends and family, and located within walking distance to the hustle and bustle of the town centre, yet far enough away for a peaceful retreat!

Have your own tent and want to come camping at Thirsk Hall?

We have five camping pitches (£35 per pitch per night, 4-man tent maximum sizing) available at Thirsk Hall Glamping Site where you can enjoy the sites facilities and have access to Thirsk Hall Sculpture Garden during it’s opening hours. Please note that these pitches do not have electrical hook ups and are separated from the car park. For more information on ‘Pitch Your Own Tent’ get in touch.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Check in is from 3pm until 9pm each day. It is self check in and guests will receive full check in instructions prior to their stay. Check out is at 10:00am.

    If you have special arrival or departure requests please do get in touch to see if we can accommodate.

  • We have some bundles which are designed to enhance guest experience. You can find more information about them here.

  • We have two dog friendly tents which can accommodate up to 2 dogs per tent. There is an additional charge of £20 per dog which you can add to your booking.

    We just ask that guests clean up after their dog and make sure that they are kept on a lead and supervised at all times.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the luna bell tents.

  • Please let us know so that we can replace or repair it. An inventory for each bell tent is provided and you should check this on arrival. Items that are missing, broken or damaged during your stay will need to be paid for.

  • We will change your bedding, on request, if you are staying for a week or longer.

  • We do have a BBQ area equipped with a communal barbecue however if you’d like to purchase a disposable one then please use the pavings provided by the fire pit. We can not have any naked flames within 5 metres of the tents.

    There is a dedicated BBQ area on site.

  • The luna bell tents sleep up to 4 guests in a double bed and two single beds.

    Additional mattresses can be added for a small fee.

  • If you or your group plan to book more than 2 luna bell tents, please call us to discuss your requirements before making a booking.

    The glamping site is a quiet site – it’s ideal for friends and family, and we are located walking distance to the hustle and bustle of the town centre, yet far enough away for a peaceful retreat!

  • We have space for up to 5 camping pitches in our glamping site. Campers can stay for £35 per pitch per night (4-man maximum per pitch) and have access to the toilets, showers and BBQ area. Campers can also enjoy visiting the Sculpture Garden during opening hours (Wednesday - Saturday, 11am-5pm).

    Please note that the camping pitches do not have access to electricity hook ups. Cars are unable to be parked in the glamping site also. For more information please get in touch.
